Former SEC great running back and current LSU assistant coach Kevin Faulk's 20 year old daughter passed away this morning of a reported heart attack. I can't even imagine how devastating that has to be for him. So sad.

Hate to say it but was she vaccinated? Not normal for a 20 year old to die of a heart attack

Was she an athlete and was she in training when it happened?

Heart disease can strike even infants.

There is no greater fear for a parent than something like this happening. Terrible, horrible news.

Damn.

I cannot imagine what he and his family is going through. Sadly I know of someone who experienced the same thing just a couple of years ago.

My heart aches for him.

Damn... entirely too young.

No parent should have to bury their children. My grandparents had to see my mom pass away, but at least she had over 55 years and had raised 3 of us before she passed away. To lose one before they even had a chance to have a life...

Lost my son a week ago today who was a student at LSU. I can tell you as a parent it is debilitating. It is a club no parent should be a part of. My heart goes out to that family. It’s something I still don’t know how to get past it and they will struggle with this for a long time. Everyone please go love on your kids. They are all a parent truly has.

Just terrible news for that family. My oldest nephew had a heart attack at 17. He lived for another 8 years but his heart gave out on him at the end.

No family should ever have to bury someone at that age.

Prayers for the family. That must be devastating. Sure puts football in it's proper perspective.

More than likely was a dysrhythmia rather than a heart attack. Probably had an undiagnosed conduction issue like long QT syndrome. I used to check the defibrillator of a young lady that never had a symptom, but had a defibrillator because her 11-year-old sister suddenly died without warning and DNA testing showed she was at risk of the same.
