maybe he was hoping for a "loss of down" penalty to go against Colorado and that would have resulted in a 1st down for the mounties with no time left on the clock but giving them one last play to shoot for the endzone as half could not end on a penalty.

Oh how they have fallen from all those unrealistic expectations and pre season Top 10 ranking.
