Three Clemson D-linemen in the top 60 players in the country.

Actually four:
11 - Bryan Bresee (DT)
25 - Myles Murphy (DE)
57 - Tyler Davis (DT)
58 - Xavier Thomas (DE)

The first three are legit, but Xavier Thomas has never been consistent enough to merit this ranking -although he has been getting rave reviews in camp.

Gumps have such a strange obsession with Derek Stingley.

We've seen him burnt to a crisp multiple times now. He may prove us all wrong this season, but until he gets it done against good competition we won't take him nearly as seriously as the media and LSU fans want us to.

Pretty sure Devonta averaged 28 ypc on The Stinger and the LSU Db's last year

Imagine about to lose games with 8 of the top 50 players in the country.

Completely untrue. Stingley faced a lot of tough competition in 2019. Only game he gave up anything was against Bama. One moment was on a freshman mistake when he turned to look at someone calling to him from the sideline. Take away that play, and his season was almost flawless. 2020* was a lost season to injuries/illness, and he still graded out pretty well.

ESPN is the least credible entity in the world. So please excuse me for not even clicking on the link.

Alabama fans want to thank him for icing the Heisman for Devonta

I don't know about that, but the only LSU game I watched last year he got his arse kicked all over the field

All good corners get burned now and then because of the way the rules are enforced right now.

Stingley was the highest graded corner by PFF in 2019 and obviously struggled a bit in 2020 due to injuries and shitty Bo Peep.

Devonta was a great college receiver, doesn't mean Stingley isn't the best CB in the country, as all the experts seem to agree.

Looked it up, in the natty against Clemson, he gave up one catch in six targets. He was matched up against Justyn Ross and Tee Higgins - two 1st/2nd round talents with Trevor Lawrence at QB.

Not to mention Stingley's two INTs in the SEC championship game against Georgia. And first-rounder CeeDee Lamb from OK said Stingley was the best CB he faced in college after the semifinal game.

To write that Stingley has not proven himself against top competition is asinine.

Burks at #68 is criminal. Morgan at #88 is okay. Jalen Catalon should be on this list as well.

List starts out shitty and I doubt it gets any better from there.
