Welcome back man. Glad you're doing better. I had Covid myself - I remember the day I lost my taste/smell (May 29, 2020). Then I basically had symptoms throughout the entirety of June and was better by July 4th. I had a couple weeks with breathing issues that made it really hard to sleep, and I'm an otherwise healthy young man (32 years old at the time, 5'11", 170 lbs).
I wouldn't wish it on anyone because you just don't know what it'll do to you. Still not sure the smell in my left nostril is 100%... for the longest time I'd cover the right one and try to smell with just the left and when I opened back up the right the smell would rush in... haven't tried that in awhile. Sometimes I still feel like I can't catch a full "satisfying" breath. Who knows what it did to my body long term. I've heard of it causing the heart to swell or something?

Losing taste and smell really sucks. You wouldn't think it'd be so bad, but damn.
