We voted with the UNION. Twice tried to secede from the dumbass secession. Fought the Battle of Fort Sanders and handed the Rebels one of their most lopsided defeats of the war. Because any dumbass trying to fight a battle by walking between the Hill and a union battery on campus and the natural mud forts of Fort Sander's area back then fricking deserves to get their arse handed to them.
