I agree with the 70s for multiple obvious reasons. Socialism used to be a bad word. Used to have only two genders. People didn’t wake up every morning wondering how they were going to be offended. The Democrats back then were more conservative than Republicans are today. Didn’t have social media ruining our country. Not everybody got a trophy.

I'll say the 70's, cars, music, girls, drugs that didn't kill you or turn into an addict, and most people had a live and let live attitude. And the swamp wasn't in high gear in DC yet.
