Cool with me. Get yourselves vaxxed, everyone.

Just curious, would you be cool with the government mandating it (legality aside)?

Do you mean mandating getting the vaccine or mandating having it to be in certain public spaces? I don't like mandating the vaccine, and on the fence for the other one. I live in Missouri and I think our recent outbreak has been from poor leadership in encouraging the population to get vaccinated/making the vaccine available enough. I like the idea of restaurants and bars and big, highly populated events choosing to be vaccine only, but not sure it needs to be government mandated.

If it saves lives and returns things to normal then ya. People are all saying “well, I’m in a low risk group so don’t need it” but then they go on to spread it and it’s variants to high risk groups who may not be able to get the vaccine from being immune-compromised.

Same things with masks, as someone who lost someone in the family to COVID, I have no sympathy for those complaining about the inconvenience of wearing a mask when it can save lives.

But hey, if some people want to not use common sense and make the most basic of sacrifices, then say goodbye to the economy. People constantly getting sick and potential for more lockdowns can will slow/trash the economy, and it’s easily avoided from something as simple as a vaccine or a mask.
