I think the simplest solution to this is if you choose not to get vaccinated, you should pay more for your health insurance. Sort of similar to smoking.

As a staunch conservative, I just don't understand the deal with the vaccine (or masks, for that matter).

Crickets? Right. "But, muh, we went too fast". Wrong. This vaccine was about a decade in the making. Educate yourself, and get vaccinated.

The real worry should revolve around the fact that it's an engineered bioweapon that accidentally escaped the lab in Wuhan. And I don't want to hear that nonsense that it's not - there's no way it's just a coincidence that the outbreak started miles from a facility that "studies" coronaviruses. Now it's mutating faster than we can keep up. Breakthrough cases are on the uptick (check out the gamma variant - when that takes over, the vaccine is about 50/50). The longer we wait to vaccinate, the more of a head start these mutations have. We'd probably be through this garbage if every state had gotten to 80% vaccinated by May or June.

That would be like the government forcing you to get the chicken pox vaccine after already having the chicken pox. It's not needed for me and the millions and millions who have already had it and there's no science that says it is.

My whole family just got covid. I'm still getting over it as I was the last one to get it, and I'm on day 4. We all lost our sense of taste and smell (which was weird) and the whole nine. My 6 year old, who has asthma and severe allergies, was over it in three days without a hitch. I'm on day 4, and my wife dealt with symptoms for about a week. I could see my symptoms going on for another day or two, but I'm definitely on the way up to healthy.

I don't see what everyone is so scared about. This is no worse than a severe cold or a mild case of the flu. I've had flu much more severe than this. I've been sick, I'll give you that. Fevers, chills, aches, congestion, etc, but nothing I've never dealt with before.

This illness has a 99% survival rate. Why do we need to be vaccinated for it? Where are all the dead bodies stacked up in the streets because of this "killer"? Why are homeless unaffected? Why aren't they just entirely wiped out would be a better question? You people are being manipulated and lied to. Wake the frick up.

I will never pump my veins full of poison for anyone or anything, and anyone trying to force it upon me will be met with violence if necessary. I will not be forced to take the shot.
