They won't even come close to destroying the SEC. The conference has to many members that hold enough power to be pushed around. It will never happen.

As an Arkansas fan, I hoped I would never see my Hogs in a conference with Texass again. They are cancer. At some point, we will all regret allowing these arrogant fricks into the conference. And if the SEC allows the horns down sign to become a penalty, they can all kiss my arse.

Nobody is scared of Texas. They haven’t been good in a decade. Playing Alabama, LSU, GA, FL etc for a decade makes Texas look pedestrian.

The issue is, nobody likes them.

OU is fine.

tejas = Covid.

Enough said.

It will be hilarious to watch those arrogant pr*cks as they slowly learn they aren't in charge of anything anymore.

That's must see TV.

Bad for A&M. Not for LSU.

Nearly all the experts I've read say it is going to damage LSU recruiting. How much, dunno.

This is an article from a Missouri writer on rivals:

LINK

Copy and pasted 2 cons from the Missouri point of view:

CON: The old neighbors are moving to your fancy new neighborhood. I mean, you bought a house in this nice neighborhood to get away from them. They kept borrowing your lawnmower and not returning it. Their dog shite in your yard pretty often and they didn't clean it up. They talked about you behind your back to the other neighbors. They were not fun to live with. You thought you got away from them. But apparently their money impresses the homeowners' association in your new place.

CON: Texas has wrecked the last two conferences it touched. Arkansas bolted the Southwest Conference in 1992 in large part to get away from the Horns and their bullying ways. Missouri followed Nebraska, Colorado and Texas A&M out the door in the Big 12 in large part to get away from the Horns and their bullying ways. I know we covered this above, but it bears repeating: Texas has trouble playing in the sandbox with others.

See you might feel indifferent, or be like oh Aggies are the only ones exaggerating they are non stop babies but that’s literally their reputation, idk what else to tell you, glad you like them a lot I guess lol

Very much look forward to an annual matchup with Texas. We're playing this year, as a matter of fact. The hatred against Texas is real, while it's mostly manufactured against SEC teams, at least in football. I mean, I can't stand LSU, but it's more pity against those corndog goobers.

Outside of football recruiting, which will suffer in Texas and Oklahoma, I don't see much difference to our programs, and I think the games in all sports will be fun.

In other words, I ain't scared.

Tell you what. Call Texas & Oklahoma and tell them you want to join them in the Big 12.

Lying sack of shite- that has NOTHING to do with why Arkansas went to the SEC. JFC. YOU PUSSIES ran from Texas, not Arkansas.

1. Does not matter how any one program feels. Train leaving the station.

2. Grudges from 10 years ago are irrelevant in this sports dynamic

3. Does it help stabilize the league future going fwd? IMO, yes

3. Can it be leveraged to help my team recruit better players? IMO, yes

4. Bottom line favorable economics for everyone. IMO, better

5. Does it create imbalance on the field? No! The best teams in the country already play in the SEC. No one is afraid of either of these programs. The competitive stress of the revised schedules falls much more on them. There are no Kansas weekends..

Texas fans suck. The University of Texas’ football organization is a metastatic cancer. The state of Texas blows and everyone living therein has an inflated sense of self-importance.

They can’t see 3 years down the road, let alone 10. But they think that can accurately predict the next century.

But we’re used to Tennessee fans, so I’m not sure how it affects us overall.
