Texas is having to choke down some humble pie even broaching the SEC for entrance. They're having to admit that their selfishness ruined their conference, drove teams away and that their Longhorn network is a piece of shite.

They'll come in and abide by the rules of the SEC or they'll tuck tail and run off.

lol, do you actually believe that?

The sips I know are on the fence about the move because they think the SEC is a bunch of rednecks who are beneath them academically. They are trying to decide if they are worthy of basking in their glow since everyone wants them of course.

They own the Commissioner and ESPN. What does LSU or Bama own? Once they are admitted they will tell you how things will be. Of course they will do it in a subtle way at first but after a few years you will notice everything just seems to go their way. It was pathetic in the Big 12 watching how NU and OU getting rolled. NU resisted and Texas destroyed them piece by piece. OU sold out and became their gimp so they could get first stab at the scraps that Texas didn't want.

You can't comprehend how much it took for A&M to get away from Texas and join the SEC. Think of Auburn leaving for the ACC and times it by 100. How you guys want to just jump into bed with these guys and somehow think "We're the SEC, Texas better know their place!" and think that will work just shows how naive you are. They already are the richest and most powerful school in every category and that is with them sucking on the field and being stuck in the Big 12.

Oh, and you just screwed over A&M by doing this and are going to force us to have to renew our old alliance with Texas, at least for now. We can't trust any of you but at least we can bet on the winning horse and get our pound of flesh. The rest of you better have your own plan because Texas doesn't play by any rules you have seen before and at a bare minimum you just made them the most powerful school in the SEC overnight.
