Can a Texas fan weigh in on this? I counted 22 wins for Texas A&M and 39 for Texas in that span, and I had to go back to 1950 to count those 22 wins for A&M

Texas A&M once famously counted their Spring Game as a win for their season total.
And "tied for Big 12 south but lost tiebreaker and didn't even make it to the title game" as a Conference Championship season.

With the recruiting power of Texas in the SEC get used to getting your butts kicked regularly. And then there is OU. It will be fun watching some schools trend to the median.

Yea because that would certainly affect LSU but not A&M- IE the school with the sole recruiting pitch of “we’re the only SEC school in Texas”
I think LSU will be perfectly fine- A&M was supposed to hurt our recruiting too and look at how that turned out. It absolutely amazes me how fricking delusional you people are. Aside from spending a shite ton of money on a mediocre coach, y’all’s lack of 10-win season since 2000 is matched only by Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt, but WE’RE the ones who should be worried

They love starting the clock in 1980 or so to include their win streak (sponsored by FedEx). They don't like including the 1960s or 70s because they were getting slaughtered on a regular basis. Since 2000 it's largely getting slaughtered, too.
"But we didn't have girls at our school! We were saving the US from the Nazis! They cheated!"
You know the drill.
They wanted a dominatrix who they could love, so they moved to the SEC.
