re: I doubt this happens but Finebaum did have really good point on Texas and OU to the SEC.

Not a bad point. A problem I have, among others, with adding a team like Oklahoma into the "Southeastern" Conference is that Oklahoma is not geographically located in the Southeast. Seems like a joke of a name at that point.

Oklahoma is further south than Missouri and also much more culturally southern

If that’s your worry, how would Texas or Missouri be considered in the “southeast” then? We already lost that geographic distinction when we took Texas A&M & Mizzou
