OU and sip in the pac with late night games won’t have the impact they think

The fear isn't that they'd go to the PAC, it's that they go to the B1G.

That suddenly makes the B1G much more relevant and throws a recruiting lifeline to schools like Nebraska and others.

Both OU and Texas have flirted with the PAC before. The leadership of both schools look at themselves as being West Coast type schools with similar academics as some of those schools. The fan bases of both those schools fit more with the SEC I think. But the leadership of both schools look at themselves as PAC 12 type schools. So I think it’s safe to say if the SEC doesn’t take them then the PAC 12 is where they will turn and make a big push to get in.

Good points there, I agree if OU and Texas Goes to the BIG, that gives the BIG10 a large footprint in Texas, playing OU in Norman gives you a footprint in Texas as all the Texas recruits watch OU football.

Nebraska, who is totally not relevant, also gets back to having lifeline.

Agree.
