If memory serves, 5* WR Rakim Jarrett chose Maryland over LSU, Bama, Clemson, Ohio State and everybody else because they sold him on being the face of the program knowing the NIL ruling was coming.

"Good frame and added upper-body strength and size after junior season...Immediate contributor at elite college program. Day 2 NFL draft prospect.
We will see if he ends up being a Day 2 draftee from Maryland.
