Are they really shite, or just poorly coached?

Who knows? Hamm was the best OL we had last year. I think Brahms has potential, but he hasn't lived up to his 4* billing (going back to Gus's failure to develop the OL). Keiondre Jones is talented, but again, no development by the previous staff.

I think its the latter because Auburn didnt go after not one offseason OLineman in the portal.
Again, who knows? It is very possible Harsin, Bobo, and Friend have a plan for the OL, but I don't think one off season is enough time to rectify the lack of development and coaching scars leftover from Gus's O.

We have a staff that can develop now, Harsin took a OL full of 3 stars at Boise and they had over 600 yds of offense vs FSU in 2019. They put up more yds than Clemson....
That was Harsin's 6th season at BSU. That was also against a Willie Taggart coached FSU team that finished 6-7.

I am optimistic about Harsin, but I am not optimistic about this season.

And although I am optimistic about Harsin, I don't know if an SEC West schedule + Georgia every season will allow him to win enough to be around long enough to get his processes and methods in place.

*a talented Willie Taggart team, poorly coached but talented.

Gus was in his 7th season when he lost to a UT team that hadnt won a game in the SEC in like 3 years prior, with more talent.

This current OL is on its 3rd coach in as many years, i think its safe to say a lot of our issues were scheme related.
