A decade ago isn't current. I completely forgot about Florida, I'll give you that. A current list doesn't have as much to do with numbers as it does the 'mood' of current happenings i.e. fan support, recruiting, head coach, consistency, etc.

South Carolina is a great example of this. They probably aren't a top 8 program at the moment.

8 NCAA Tourney Appearances
6 Regional Winners
3 Super Regional Winners
1 Runner Up Finish
2 Championships

Tennessee in the last 11 Years
2 NCAA Tourney Appearances
1 Regional Winners
1 Super Regional Winners
0 Runner Up Finish
0 Championships

That’s not even comparable imo..

That being said, Tennessee Baseball with Vitello does look very promising if they can keep him..
