It’s kinda like this game I played growing up.. where one guy would throw the football into a group of kids.. as high as he could throw it.. and he would yell how many points it was worth if you caught it. So yeah.. an extra 15 points if you actually catch (get) the final out.

That being said, it’s all relative. No matter the scoring system, the results wouldn’t be all that different within the SEC.

Now it could make a difference if you were to compare Miami & LSU or Arizona State & USC. There is just a pretty clean hierarchy in the SEC as it stands today.
