But I knew it wouldn't change my ranking all that much.
Agreed. I ultimately came to the same conclusion after going through the formula.
That being said, I thought it would be interesting to come up with a grading scale for each year.
My initial thoughts.
+10 Make NCAA Tourney
+10 Win Regional
+10 Win Super Regional
+10 Make Final
+10 Win National Championship
This would allow you to rank every team, every year. Winning a Conference Tourney maybe should mean something, but i’m not sure it really matters. Perhaps counting the wins would matter too..

Historically it's hard to argue with what you put together. There are a couple of coin flips that could go either way, but you probably wouldn't get much push back either way.
If I had to rank current state of SEC baseball programs it would probably look something like this
1. Vandy
2. Mississippi State
3. Arkansas
4. LSU
5. Florida
6. Ole Miss
7. Tennessee
The Rest

If you used this (removed any pts for Regionals/Supers because those changed and it's hard to equalize it out) (10 pt NCAA App, 10 pt CWS, 10 pt CWS Final Series/Game, 10 pt NCAA Champ)
1. LSU (640 pts)
2. Mississippi State (540)
3. Florida (520)
3. South Carolina (520)
5. Arkansas (440)
6. Texas A&M (410)
7. Missouri (330)
8. Alabama (310)
9. Vanderbilt (300)
10. Ole Miss (290)
11. Auburn (270)
12. Georgia (230)
13. Tennessee (170)
14. Kentucky (70)
