I actually thought about doing a point system like you did including CWS wins, conference championships and conference tournaments.

But I knew it wouldn't change my ranking all that much.

I decied to do three tiers based on the one elite program, those who have won at least 1 NC, and those who have not won a NC.

Florida and MSU are so close I almost had to flip a coin.

I had to penalize Mizzou because all of their success was so long ago.

I do agree if LSU deserves an elite tier then Kentucky deserves a tier for being inferior.

Agreed. I ultimately came to the same conclusion after going through the formula.

That being said, I thought it would be interesting to come up with a grading scale for each year.

My initial thoughts.
+10 Make NCAA Tourney
+10 Win Regional
+10 Win Super Regional
+10 Make Final
+10 Win National Championship

This would allow you to rank every team, every year. Winning a Conference Tourney maybe should mean something, but i’m not sure it really matters. Perhaps counting the wins would matter too..
