Harris is interesting but he really only had 2 great games, one of which came against the worst defense in the SEC in Ole Miss. He averaged under 4 YPC in 4/10 games including against a bad Mizzou defense. I'm sure that's on the OL some. Not sure what returns though. Chris Rodriguez is also interesting. He tore everyone up but split time with Rose. Will be interesting to see how he handles the load as the #1.

Kevin Harris don’t play for a power house. Got it….

I love Spiller, but those holes were WIDE open thanks to the O-line.

Of course no one mentions Devon Achane.

I think Achane will have the highest YPC in the conference this year. He's not a every down back, but his elite speed against tired defenses will get him 10 carries for 85+ yards. He'll even have a game or two with single digit carries for triple digit yards.

No, it was a hip pointer. It was an acute injury.

Was that ever confirmed? "Apparent hip injury" and "lower body injury" was all i ever saw reported

Truth is he was just beat the frick up from getting smashed behind that Oline.

If AU would have had a rotation of Boobie and Tank, they would've been better off. I saw Whitlow is in the portal again. Not sure what that dude was thinking.

He was at Western Illinois. Not sure if he’s moving again. The guy had some issues but never really knew what.

No, he wasn’t. In fact, he was fine until that Tennessee player slammed him on his hip.

Go watch the play.

Here, I’ll make it easy for you: 8 minute mark

That's not a hit that is gonna cause a new injury. The Tennessee lineman didnt land on him, didnt hit him with his helmet, didnt sandwich him. He just tossed him off the pile and Bigsby landed on his hip. That's an accumulation injury.

I personally don't believe Alabama will have THE premiere RB of the SEC that year. We're probably going to use a RB-By-Committee approach.

Spiller is awesome but hoping Brian R has an awesome year. He’s been toiling away for 8 or 9 years at Bama and now he’s finally the starter. Think about practicing against Bama defenses for all those years. Guy must be tough as nails.

The correct answer - Jerrion Ealy. Most people tend to ignore Kiffin's emphasis on running the ball and don't realize that Ole Miss led the conference in rushing yards/game last year.

As a Bama fan, I can definitely say, NOT BRob. He runs hard but is not elite in any sense of the word. One of the younger guys will start sooner rather than later.

No, it’s not.

A hip pointer is a deep bruise to the ridge of bone on the upper outside of your hip, called the iliac crest. It's often a result of a direct blow to the hip or a hard fall. Hip pointer symptoms include pain and tenderness. Recovery from the injury usually involves taking a break from activity until it heals.

Did you even see Big Kevin Harris run the ball last year? He'll run you over or can outrun you, catches the ball great, and.....he stayed healthy. Now Marshawn Lloyd's back for Carolina too and with most of a veteran O-line returning. If Doty can throw the ball just a little this season those 2 backs are going to be fun to watch. I like Tank but its all Harris imo

Where was it ever confirmed he had a hip pointer? Show me a legit source claiming that and I will agree with you. Your clip does not show a hard hit. It's not even really a hit as much as it's a toss and then he hits the ground. Unless he's got osteoporosis, that's not gonna cause injury.

Looks like he had a sports hernia, which would also conform with the official reports of lower body injury and apparently hip injury. It's very common with RBs.

Eta: i wasnt saying a hip pointer is an accumulation injury. Im saying what bigsby had was accumulation. Like a sports hernia.
