I’m rooting for you guys to win you idiot. I have family that went to LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. I’m not from Mississippi so I don’t give a shite about the rivalry or the Civil War or anything else the average Mississippian cares about. The only time I don’t root for you is when you play my alma mater.
Just because I’m rooting for you and I want you to beat Vanderbilt does not mean that this racist event did not happen I lived in Mississippi for five years I heard enough racist bullshite while I was there. To be fair I heard plenty of racist bullshite out in Oregon and California and in Florida but to pretend it doesn’t happen is naïve.
