I'm pulling for NCSU because my brother graduated from there. He was on N.C. State's 1968 baseball team that went to the CWS for their first time ever. Southern California won the CWS that year and Southern Illinois was runner-up.

You guys do know that if Mississippi State wins, they'll be afforded additional scholarships? Some people say that's what's given Vanderbilt that extra advantage.

we simply arent worthy. best we can hope for is to show up and be lucky enough to put the ball in play once or twice. they are far superior in every way...and that goes for every team.

If Texas beats Virginia tonight then State better watch out. They will see Texas throw their #1 starter tomorrow and their #2 starter on Saturday. The #2 guy only threw like 50 pitches on Tuesday.
Also their best bullpen arm will be rested if they don't use him tonight.

we dont even know if we will make it out of our side of the bracket just yet. never underestimate state's ability to screw things up.
