re: Probably beating a dead horse, but what was Gus/Malzahn thinking?

I know the line play went way down for sure, but at least a more mobile QB can alleviate some of that with option plays out of shotgun. Seems like Gus thought he could imitate what Bama was doing, but our receivers could produce and block on the edges.
