DVH is completely right. Aggie doesn't want to put the effort in to build a championship program, they think they can just buy it.

His contract expired, it wasn't renewed. If he'd been a little more successful in post season play he'd still be there, but getting dumped out practically every year is a trend you can't ignore.
You can't build a foundation for a great program on a coach who is continually losing when it matters. If it happens now and again, that may be on the team and the players. When it happens consistently, that's on the coach.
