Imagine typing these two sentences back to back, insinuating someone else was dumb, only to realize that Texas was good far before David Pierce. You do realize that the last two coaches that retired from Texas were the winningest coaches ever when they did so? You do realize that no one has won in Omaha more, right? No one has even been more. aTm fans continue to say this in every single sport. You're "scared" is the last thing anyone thinks in regards to aTm in any of the 3 major mens sports.

What is there to be scared of exactly? aTm has not won a major mens national title in any of our lifetimes.

Texas is likely the best baseball program of all time. Great programs go through a bad season here or there and recover just fine. A program like Texas will have more highs than lows no matter who their coach is. They'll also always draw interest from some of the better coaches in the game.
