Or stays long enough to where he has a few mediocre or even bad years and allows your team to beat him, allowing you to say your program made Nick Saban quit.*
*the latter scenario does not apply to Tennessee.

He needs to retire now so we don't push him over the cliff like we did to the bear, 21-10...

Obviously the 2nd one duh. Why wouldn’t I pick the one that guarantees multiple mediocre years out of Bama?

Good luck if you want this one.

I want saban to suffer at the end
I want his hand picked successor to struggle and lose 4 games his first season

Jokes on you!
Tennessee could possibly be back in 2031!
*7 Years with Hype and 3 with the next coach.

You really think that Coach Saban will have mediocre years? Bad ones?
You are being silly. He will leave after he wins 10 NC at Alabama, so 4 more.

I doubt he will have more than one of these. If he goes 7-5 or worse he is going to hang it up.
I don't care when he retires. I'm more looking forward to the meltdown from your fanbase when his successor cant hold his jock.

Perhaps but we will have to fall and fall and fall to get to the Hogs level.
Hell at least UGA has 1980. The Hogs have 1964 voted on by the local MSM.

I should add that I think LSU and Georgia have the most to gain if he retires sooner than later. How many National Championship titles could they have had if it wasn’t for Nick Saban at Alabama. However the latter choice does give you the most emotional satisfaction.

Are you secretly having him indulge to excess in alcohol and smoke too much for decades that will lead to his battling through a stroke and mild heart failure?

You don't have to. The women's shelters in Alabama would be overflowing with beaten sister-wives if you guys went 8-4 in consecutive years. All the bandwagon fans you picked up during Sabans run are going to go ballistic

It will be like the time Coach Bryant retired. No big meltdown, just moving on to find the next championship winning coach. Alabama could have hired Bowden from FSU in 87, if not for the Alabama president at the time (Thomas, what an idiot)

Unlike Bear, NS is in great health and has a work ethic far superior to any of his rivals.
You will know it is time for him to hang it up when recruiting starts tanking. And I see no signs of that happening.

Idk if he keeps recruiting how he has, he could coach into his nineties and still win championships. I prefer him retire asap.

I hope he stays long enough for all the "institutional control" truths to be brought to light, (like all the trailer parks in Tuscalosa tithing 50% to the "church of a school I can't spell")
so all the mutated inbreds can blame him for the multiple title strippage and Mandingo his statue to death.

Nick Saban can retire whenever he likes and still be on top. Nothing to suggest it's either, or.
