I'm not sure why this seems to be the prevailing judgement on Pittman. The book on him has yet to be written and he has done nothing but show promising results so far, especially considering what he walked into.

I agree here. We aren't respected and won't get the exposure that top athletes want. We need to overachieve this year to regain some standing. I think we will.
To answer OP, I would rather suffer through a shitty sports experience in Sep, Oct and Nov to have excitement in Dec-June.

Meant to say high floor low ceiling. The guys that win big either recruit extremely well (Saban, Smart, EO, Freeze) or are great at developing a QB (Mullins, CBP). Pitt is neither of those. Pitt is competent, maybe even good but won't win big here.
