Belichick promised Mac that he would be drafted by the Patriots if they could fake teams into thinking Mac couldn't play. The bad passes and the overly dramatic reaction from Belichick were a ruse. Mac Jones was smart enough to realize that the Patriots were still playoff bound and that he will be the starter of game 1.

Mac wanted a successful career more than he wanted to be drafted high by losers.

I would call you full of chit, if I haven't seen the same stuff floating around NFL message boards.

Suddenly Mac couldn't hit Wrs going against air at Alabama pro days...but was dropping dimes in front dozen of scouts during practices in the Senior Bowl.

I hate the Patriots....

THE 49ERS have a better roster than the Patriots though.
