Four-star defensive tackle Jaheim Oatis committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the middle of April. He remains committed to Alabama. But Oatis did find the time and was willing to travel to Oxford last month to visit with the Ole Miss coaching staff.

What exactly did that visit mean? We spoke with Oatis on Wednesday about where Ole Miss stands in his recruitment. Does Oatis have a legitimate interest in the Rebels?

"Yes sir," Oatis told the Ole Miss Spirit in response to that question. "For one, it's Mississippi. For two, the D-line coach there (Randall Joyner)...I love him. He is intense."
