I've wondered why I haven't seen on him on more "coaches on the hotseat" rankings. He was 6-7 last year and it's not a stretch that they could lose eight games this year.
Recruiting success or not, Florida hasn't shown much patience with coaches lately. Mcelwain and Mullen were fired after one losing season (they didn't even get through the whole season, either)

Yeah which is why they need to stick with Napier and hope he can build something. Cycling bad hires isn't good biz.
