You kidding? The media loved him because talking about him drew fan reactions and ratings.

Many fans dislike him, but that's mostly because the media won't stop talking about him and they handle him with kid gloves in many of their criticisms because he has such a passionate fan base.

I dislike him because he's cocky and thinks he is bigger than the game or his team due to his refusal to even consider moving to another position until now when all other avenues of being a professional athlete has closed to him.

Funny part is, I wouldn't even care that much if not for the wall to wall media attention - he's about to get more of it than any third string tight end deserves.

He was also a trash broadcaster. I don't think I ever listened to him make more than surface level observations.

bullshite. Merrill Hodge and a million other professional trolls called him everything from a talentless hack to a hateful bigot from the day he declared for the draft to his last day in the League.

Star athlete with Miss Universe wife thinks highly of himself, more at 11

Maybe he knew he wouldn't be able to make the transition at the pro level in one offseason or fall camp. Maybe he didn't think it would help the team.

You're gonna be so pissed when he wins the Masters in 2028.
