If hostile crowds are as big of a factor as yall say, then it should be a noted that LSU had 4-quarter games against Florida and Auburn in Tiger Stadium. We would have loved a full Bryant Denny Stadium when we played the #4 and #7 finishing teams in the country. But Bama beat them by 17 and 28 anyway.

Which means that Alabama had to win on talent, not being able to boost themselves with the hostile crowd.

But then, Alabama plays in Tiger Stadium every other year, and is 29-9 all time, so maybe you need to rethink that "hostile crowd" theory
