It might but Scoot sounds like he is going to the G league to me.

Could have been that the guy that decommitted just didnt like that they recruited transfer guards after he was signed and thought it would give him less playing time.

This is a site that ranks prospects and updates regularly they have Primo listed as the 170th best prospect as of yesterday.

(Herb is 45, Petty is 55)

it also listed jq at 173. do you also believe primo and jq have 170 prospects ahead of them? i personally would find that a bit insulting to them, esp when considering some of the guys that site has ahead of them.
to name a few, 21 year old ayayi at 42. 23 year old hauser at 62. 23 year old reaves at 68. 21 year old trey murphy at 74. 23 year old mj walker at 146. primo at 18.3 years old is the youngest guy on that whole list by several months. as much as i would love a second year primo at bama, surely you can now see the potential for him to sneak into the second round if he doesnt come back, right?

I think Primo is higher than 170 and JQ is higher than 173 personally, I would put JQ at around 70th and Primo at around 100th. 60 players get drafted every year so I don't think either would be.

Anything is possible. He said he is coming back unless he is gonna get drafted in the first round, so I expect him to come back.

well thats a shame. so then you dont find it very likely for a gm to see a guy like primo being a g league stash for several years to see how he looks at 20/21 years old? with all due respect, i think youre underestimating primos current ability and potential a great deal. a high schooler who became a solid 2 way role player against p6 competition with flashes of brilliance is more than enough for that possibility, in my opinion.

I think he would for sure at least get picked up by a G league team if he stays in the draft.

I don't underestimate his ability I think if he comes back next year he will play himself into the first round.

Do you think it would be better for his career to go pro now and end up in the G league or to go to college another year and try to get drafted in the first round?

i think for money purposes it would be better for him to try and become a first rounder. long term though i dont think it matters either way. you can either stick in the league or you cant.

Who are your guys predictions for team MVP next year? Herb was pretty much the unanimous pick this year right?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Keon Ellis, I don't see him playing the most minutes or scoring the most points but I think he will set the tone with his ability to defend and just be an all around hard hat type player.

Keon Ellis is the only answer. I’m the biggest Keon Ellis Stan on this board( Sorry, George)

Dude is amazing and I expect with him being more aggressive next year he can get into that 12-15ppg range

i have no idea. could be any of 5 or 6 guys really. would love for yall to be right and see keon become that guy. few guys have that 'make you cry to your mum' affect against opposing players than keon, and i mean that nationally.

I'd fight you but I don't deal with megathreads that ruin the board IMHO IYAM

I think JQ will be the MVP if he is here. He was one of the best , most consistent performers we had and was coming off the bench

IYAM will always be something I have to google. It’s a mental block, I can never remember.

Also, megathreads are the devil, unless I’m involved from the beginning, and then I enjoy them.

According to a poster on BOL who is accurate with his inside basketball information, Primo is much closer to a 1st round grade than previously expected.. could be interesting this summer.

And now rumors have it that Terrence Clarke for Kentucky was killed in a car accident.... Dear Lord that’s terrible. Prayers for him and his family if true
