I think its safe to say he is out for the year. The only positive is that it happened in June, so when the 2024 season rolls around he will be almost a year and a half removed from the injury.

Yeah in a best case scenario he tore his MCL and will be back before the season starts, but this is Alabama basketball so it's definitely an ACL. This has been an annual occurrence over multiple coaching staffs and multiple S&C coaches. It's just the product of a cursed program.

We are gonna have to score a bunch of points this year, Mo and Bediako would have been our best two defenders.

With the pieces we have, add Nelson, I think we would be one of the best offenses in college basketball, so that's a good thing. We will need to be.

Pretty sure it was a meniscus repair.

Maybe we can get Kaluma in for a visit. He's a solid defender who would mostly be competing with freshmen for minutes here. Looks like Cal is trying to bring him in to be the lone upperclassman on his team of teenagers though.

Hogville is on fire...

I hope we get him. And would not be disappointed if we don't.

This concept of players becoming whores is a total turnoff.

Edit: it gets better...

quote:

You and I both know that players being whores has been around a lot longer than NIL has been...

Not at this price. Hundred dollar handshakes used to be the norm

So he's mad because he likes cheap whores.

I have seen a few Arkansas fans on twitter coping by saying they will probably be better without Nelson.

The thing about Kaluma is at Creighton he was their 5th option in terms of offensive usage, what I have heard is he wants to go somewhere he is at least the 2nd or 3rd option. If we missed on Nelson I think we could provide that but probably not if we land Nelson.

I would love to have Kaluma though, he would be perfect for what we need especially now with Mo being injured.

He obviously has a connection on the medical staff, which I believe is shared by all programs in the athletics department. If it's just a torn meniscus, holy shite that's a bullet dodged. He's supposed to be a monster defender.

He gave some good updates on Brandon Millers groin last year.

So a meniscus is usually 3 to 6 months right? So that would possibly put him back by at least December, that would be great news.

Thanks for the update by the way!!!
