His dad’s quotes read like he’s Arkansas bound, and they’re just being respectful. Hopefully I’m wrong, but I doubt we land him now.

Hard to know what's going on there. Just my opinion but I think they'd take Nelson over Ball and that if they get Nelson that Ball will probably get released from his letter of intent and go to Auburn or somewhere.
If they 100% plan on still taking Ball then yeah that's good for us cause Brazile, Graham, Mitchell, and Ball is probably too deep of a front court for Nelson to want to go there.

Interesting, yeah depending on where you look, he's also listed as 6'11"-ish.
Guess they could pitch Fall at 5 and Nelson at stretch-4, but IDK about their roster.

That's another positive on our end in terms of workouts/strength and conditioning. Henry Barrera is another guy who is crazy good at his job...just take a look at JQ's knee rehab... people might not think that's big but if you look at how quick he came back you'll see that's amazing with the way JQ play...on top of that Henry Barrera did skill work with JQ as well.

I know nothing about the money but an insider I trust on a board for another team I root for who has been right on many things so far has told me Musselman is very confident that Arkansas ends up with Nelson and that Kaluma comes to Bama along with Preston Murphy. I hope he is wrong about Nelson.

I don't even think Kaluma was even recruited by Murphy so that's not why Kaluma would come here if that's what he or she is insinuating. Your insider friend is probably good but I don't know about these two particular situations.
Everybody been knew about Preston Murphy btw so that's a given unless something changes.

Yeah Oats and Musselman are probably both confident. And I’m sure Nelson and his dad will have nice things to say about Arkansas tonight or tomorrow much the same way he did about us. Comes down to whether he values his fit and role on a team or who can offer the most NIL money.
