Who spawned the likes of Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, and Benny Hinn.
They’ve made their entire careers as false prophets who steal from the impoverished to stuff their own wallets.

Maybe.
My Grandpa battled alcoholism for most of his adult life. In our small town he was known for drinking way too much and when he eventually tried going to Church with my Grandma, trying to get his shite together, the local Southern Baptist didn't care for the mostly Choctaw Indian defiling their pews.
Either because of the reception or because he was ashamed, he began watching the Sunday morning Church services on TV. He never had much money, worked for the state department as a bridge sandblaster and painter, but one time he sent Oral Roberts a small amount and in return received a Bible.
He kept that Bible the remainder of his life and read from it daily. He never stopped drinking completely, but he was able to get it under control and live a productive life.
You never know who watches those programs and who may truly benefit from them.

I have a friend who works a sportsbook in LV and he told me this morning that Arkansas is the 2nd biggest need they've had in the tournament so far. I couldn't believe my ears.

Oral was bad enough, but Richard and the hag he was married to were snake oil salespeople. That woman was/is uglier than a bowling shoe.
