I hate playing in state teams. We are always their CWS and have a chip on their shoulder. I hope we continue worrying about our play and not worry who we are playing.

Gamecocks go to 9-0 today. Brannon Jordan had 11 strikeouts in 5 innings. Our pitching and defense have been dead on the last two games. I want to see that matched up with our offense going off.

Gamecock pitchers combined for 17 strikeouts for the game.

can't think of a better time or place.

Jordan 95 pitches/55 strikes 19 batters faced. the 11 K's was impressive. he needed a day like today. deep counts first time through their lineup but got in a nice groove.

Sanders & Kerry are beginning to pair up in relief roles much like we're used to seeing Gamecock arms shut things down late innings with Carolina in the lead.

Gamecocks were a bit more human at the plate today than they've been in a few games. 7 hits 30 AB. just 2/13 RISP. Sightler's HR went 412 ft @ 106 mph per baseball twitter.

Clarke 1/3 AB w BB. season average at .515 after today. Satterfield 1/3 AB with 2 rbi double. he's hitting a cool .417 which is 3rd best behind Wimmer (.444) & Clarke. Wimmer got on base in every AB today.

I don't see how Kingston can keep Satterfield off the field with what he's done in short order. Callil is giving his best DC Arendas impression at the plate. 2 more K's in 3 official AB.

Fields K'd three times. 10 total K's for the team.
