This team deserves some love so far.

It's a shame.

What has happened to our major sports since 2014 (save the 1 Final 4 appearance) has really beaten down our fan base I think and it sucks.

Tanner went from arguably the most beloved Gamecock of all time to people wanting to run him out of town.

With all that said I hope the love for this baseball comes back like it used to. They deserve it.

I just watched a clip of Phil Disher hitting a game winning GS vs Eastern Michigan of all teams. The first Carolina baseball game I ever went to. I know Sarge Frye was way smaller but it was packed against a nobody opponent.

Hopefully we can see the crowds and the support picking up again.

Disher hit a moon shot in that 5 homer streak against UGA in the 2006 Supers.

it will with a vengeance in front of 1900 capped attendance - as soon as tomorrow at Founders. if Carolina handles at home Sunday - it will be all over Midlands/Lowcountry sports talk radio. Upstate will be pondering whether Coach Browneye should have his team pack a toothbrush for the taters visit to the ACC hoops tourney.

it should have never gotten to extra innings, and it could've easily been lost in extra innings - but this club stole a win they should have had in 9 innings. huge double play by Carolina T11 was a sign of clutch the program's largely 'misplaced' since 2014.

what a demoralizing loss for CU.
