That sounds great for everyone but me for some reason. The creek I'm piddling around in has relatively shallow bedrock and huge boulders every so often. I decided I'm not going to struggle trying to clean out from around them but drag them a few feet over and get to where everything has accumulated underneath. So i ordered a Wyeth Scott More Power Puller this morning. Some of these boulders are car sized so i went with the best come along i could find. It has the ability to drag 12,000 pounds and doesnt use a dangerous/deadly wire cable to do it. It uses a rope called Amsteel Blue. It doesnt store energy like a steel cable so no whipping action if it snaps. That makes me feel better bc that thing has the potential to have a lot of tension on it. From what i gather its the best puller there is. It definitely wasnt cheap. Next year i aim to purchase a Sierra Blaster. It splits boulders with a charge of sorts that you drill and place inside the rock itself. But for now I'm stoked about my new puller. Good, high quality made in the USA and last forever, pass it down piece of equipment. I've used cheap come alongs and they're generally trashed after a heavy pull or 2.

Oh my new wetsuit was delivered today. 7mm neosport farmer john style 2 piece suit. The one i used last was so tight i think it had to of been cutting off some circulation. Hopefully it'll hold up pretty well. I figure the rocks and sand are going to be hell on it

The amazing thing to me is the rope in that puller is rated for a little over 6 tons and is only 5/16 of an inch around. Thats nuts
