You're likely going to have to do MULTIPLE clean burns to get the lighter fluid residue out of the ceramic.

It'll likely seem blasphemous compared to my previous positions on BGE, but the Rib-Off thread details some advancements that Kamado Joe has made with their hinge system that would prompt me to buy a Big Joe II today, over an XL BGE.

The KJ gasket is legit.

Plus their colors are the bomb.
