1 year (at least) of investigations will hamper recruiting.

It's possible they get sanctions similar to USC. 2 year bowl ban and 30 scholarships over 4 years. So you're looking at 2026 until you have a full compliment of scholarships back to even offer.

Then, if they don't commit violations that would set them back, as they would be in the repeat offender window for a few years...you'd have to hope for a decent hire.

And if a decent hire occurs, it will take them 3-4 years to build the program. So 2029-2030.

So they could be looking at possibly a full decade of medicroty. And that's if the investigation doesn't take more than a year.

I’d say they were let off easy after what the NCAA did to Ole Miss.
