2011 LSU
2009 Gators
2002 UGA
2020 A&M?
Who else you got and why? Think UGA maybe the best of the bunch.. Richt was a strong coach.

I know it isn't the modern era, but 1966 Alabama led by Ken Stabler.

2011 LSU
2016 Alabama
2004 Auburn
2020 A&M got fricking skull drug by 4 TDs and had no impressive wins. Not even in the discussion

2016 Alabama. That was a nasty, nasty defense.
2013 Alabama has a really good chance to win a national title if not for the Kick Six.

Our best non-title team of the modern era is 2016. They were one stop away from being the original GOAT 15-0 team, but didn't finish it off.
Ridiculous talent, incredible resume.....but didn't finish the job.

2015 Ohio State has an argument due to them choking at home like an Urban Meyer team does to a meh Michigan State team
2013 Alabama wins the title if not for a kick six.
2004 Auburn and Utah could probably have deserved shots as well.

2019 Alabama. Would've been remembered as the best team of the Saban era had 2019 LSU not been so good.

2020 A&M?
They beat two 8-4 teams. Wow.

1986 Miami Hurricanes: Vinny Testaverde (Heisman), Michael Irvin, Alonzo Highsmith, Jerome Brown. Lost 14-10 to Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl. Outgained them about 450-150 in total yardage but turned the ball over.
1994 Penn State: Kerry Collins, Ki-Jana Carter. Undefeated but didn't get a shot at Nebraska.
2000 Miami: All the 2001 studs plus Dan Morgan and Reggie Wayne. Probably would have beat the shite out of Oklahoma at the end of the year.

09 Gators. Having a competent OC they were unbeatable. Freaking Addazio.
