The same conditions and obstacles were present for all teams. Dealing with them and being prepared to deal with missing players and staff made this season much more difficult than others.

Hell, Saban even missed coaching a game, and then had to miss 2 weeks of practice total due to a false positive costing him a week.

Besides, which opponents were so badly down that could have beat Alabama? Kentucky? Would you say that was worse than say...an FCS win?

Ohio St had a decent number out, but hardly depleted.
