We need to employ the workers that were on the pipeline in building electric charging stations/wind turbines/solar panels at the same or higher wage. We cannot continue to use strictly fossil fuel or we will be dinosaurs in the somewhat close future.

I myself wont have to worry because of my age....but my stepson is 21. We have polluted the air, water and land. It has to change or he will be wearing gas masks to go outside.

As far as immigration, Mexico needs to stop the migration of Honduran, Belizians (sp), and other Central Americans along with Mexicans. Why is Mexico complicent ? I guess they want to purge a lot of undesirables from their country ? Mexico needs to stop people from crossing their border.
I know Mexico has a better economy than other Central American countries (except probably Costa Rico)...hell, we have many plants down and auto manufacturing used to be where all the parts came from ? I guess its cheaper now to use countries like Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia etc etc ?

American companies that employ illegals are partly to blame. But who is going to work on farms picking fruit and vegetables ? Certainly not Americans. Even though a lot of harvesting is somewhat automated...a lot isnt. 40-45 miles from where I live there are thousands of workers picking strawberries, citrus, flowers for florist shops and you name it. Churches in the areas help support a lot of workers.

Great Britain faces a challenge of a large influx of Middle Eastern people that fly in on tourist visas and then dont leave. I watched a documentary on Britian and their border security try to track down the illegals. Of course its easy to find most...just to all the resturants and you'll find them

i'm all for solar and wind. i just feel like we don't know enough about it, yet to flip the switch on fossil fuels, yet. all that does is hurt consumers and the employees.
