It certainly wasn't the toughest SEC West slate that Jimbo will face in his tenure there.
But, it's not like it's their fault that so many teams they played uncharacteristically sucked this year. They also beat a lot of those teams like they were supposed to: in dominating fashion. After Florida I don't think any game was ever in doubt in the 4th quarter.
Beating a depleted UNC after Notre Dame had already smoked them on the road, fairing worse against Bama than ND did, and Ohio State throttling Clemson all worked against their credibility that they were wrongfully left out, though.
