It's a weird feeling to be appreciative of what he did for A&M and what he accomplished during his time here while also being relieved that he is heading to the NFL.

I'm excited to see what Haynes King can do. I think he will spread the ball around more and we will have more big play potential with him.

Yep. Appreciate the games he won, including our best bowl win since the natty in 39, but also glad he’s going to move on to the NFL.

I think this was the best decision for all parties. Mond goes out on top as a NY6 bowl winner and we can move on to the next generation of QB.

Let’s be honest, if he had come back for another season and won fewer games and not made a NY6 bowl or better again, the fan base that’s already divided over him would’ve turned more against him.

And I’ll still say I think he’s at his ceiling, another year of college isn’t going to help him out draft position or otherwise.
