I'm just happy to see a big win that doesn't feel like an outlier. Not to mention amidst it all to read posts on the internet using adult language like vapid and disingenuous. :)
And if all of the moral positives that have historically been part of A&M culture result in carrying over a bunch of just shy of NFL guys who just "want to," well, Katie bar the door.

That's the linchpin to the whole "sleeping giant" mystique we've always heard about TAMU, but never fully realized. Good teams come and go--enough talent in the state trickles through here to virtually guarantee that every now and then. But retention/culture is something that is takes intention to build--something that hasn't always been there. And whenever we did have those fringe NFL guys, they'd bolt at the earliest opportunity (not that I'd necessarily blame them). This is the first TAMU team I can recall with such a robust locker room culture. The playoff snub seemed to galvanize them, in a way, instead of fracturing their drive like we've seen it do to some other teams in the past. That's pretty cool to witness. Hopefully the start of something very special for this program.
