I think the fact that nothing official has been said in Tuscaloosa speaks volumes about the veracity of this story. If it were incorrect, don't you think the SID would have been all over it releasing a statement clarifying that while Sark may be a candidate for the job, nothing has been decided as of yet? Just saying.

And Texas can't say anything officially because being a public university, they have to go through the motions of a search and interviews, etc.

We are seeing the reports that Sark to Texas is done, and the reports that it’s not done, and that he turned it down. Lol

So far all we can tell you is that a couple of sources “expect” him to take the job. But again, nothing is ever official until it’s officially announced and we’ve seen things fall through in the past. But it’s hard to believe Texas fired Tom Herman without having their next coach in place.

With that said nothing has ever surprised us with a coaching search and we are monitoring the situation. But as things stand now our sources indicate they think he is taking the job.

We will let you know if we hear more.

I mean yeah, if he wasn’t taking the job UA folks would have said so by now, but that doesn’t mean him going is a done deal either. It’s possible it’s up in the air.

I expect an announcement he’s Texas bound by the end of today or tomorrow afternoon though.

No. I cannot think of one single time any SID got themselves in the middle of someone else’s coaching search. He represents Alabama, not Sark or Texas. Not saying anything at all is the correct play.
