I think them missing the playoffs that year lead to them not giving a shite about the Texas game.

There were certainly more "hyped" to play Baylor last year.
The '18 team thought they deserved to be in the playoffs and continually tweeted about it leading up to the game.They also had some Jr's and Sr's that absolutely didn't GAS about the game or being there.
