So Ga. Tech is a better location since it's actually in Atlanta, eh. And an elite recruit isn't going to come to rural Alabama because it's a 4 hour drive to the beach.

I agree. It has more to do with football history than location. Even though AU's campus is far nicer than Starkvegas, I don't think that is the main factor for most kids (though it helps).
I mean you Bama fans say it all the time that Bama tradishun is why you get recruits. Tuscaloosa isn't exactly Los Angeles either you know. Do you think Bama's 485 national championships doesn't affect recruits?
